Resilience Plan: coverage of connection costs for small projects

As part of the Resilience plan presented by the Prime Minister on March 16, the government announced that the connection of renewable electricity production facilities with a power of less than 500 kW would be covered by 60% compared to 40 % previously. “The cost of connection to the networks can be a brake on the deployment of certain small renewable electricity production projects as well as the installation of heat pumps, the development of which is nevertheless an essential issue in our energy policy. Reducing connection costs will make it possible to speed up their installations, particularly in rural areas,” explained Barbara Pompili. The Minister for the Ecological Transition has announced 80% coverage of the connection costs for heat pumps and charging stations for individuals and small professionals.
